Re: Touring Southwest Utah
One of my favorite places on the planet. We used to have a vacation home in Hurricane, and would go to Zion all the time.

Re: Touring Southwest Utah
That area has some of the best scenery in the state! We just finished a tour through Escalante and Bryce Canyon. Had to bypass Kodachrome Basin due to a storm washing out some roads the day before. Really looking forward to taking the A down there again and can hardly wait for the MAFCA 2019 tour.
Would love to hear more about your tour and see more photos, please post when you can! Below are a couple of shots in Long Gulch Canyon on the Burr Trail. |

Re: Touring Southwest Utah
Here is my photo from Capital Reef. I have taken my A over the Burr Trail and Longs Canyon twice and highly recommend it. This is probably as remote a location as you can find in the US. Just make sure you top off your gas tank because it is often a long way between stops. Don't ask me how I know......

Oldman, that is a great shot! We only went as far as the pavement as it was just a quick side tour. It is now on my bucket list to do the whole trail. Long Gulch and Hogsback were the highlights of the trip me.
Dick, here is a link to the promo video for the tour. |
