PickupAA truck male door dovetail

Does anyone know where a well made (correct) pickup/AA truck door dovetail can be purchased? The dovetails available at model A vendors, I believe, are made by Vintique and very poorly made. The screw holes are not formed properly (not deep enough) and the thickness of the steel is way too thin. I am attaching picture of the top and bottom of an original dovetail that is what I am looking for only nicely nickel plated.

i found a nice set and had them replated by craig riker, i then found some felt scraps and put it in them and used brass screws. they line up and fit perect

A&L doesn't sell nice ones. They sell the cheesy 2 hole Vintique dovetails like everyone else does. I am not sure A&L even carries the 4 hole type. They are only used on pickups and AA trucks. However, Alan at A&L says he plans to make a duplicate of the Ford 2 hole dovetails, but it maybe be a while until he has them to sell. A&L almost always makes very good parts. They make some nice 6 hole (Briggs and Murray) fordor male dovetails.
