Re: repainted my wheels
Back in '62 my dad gave me a birthday present which consisted of removing my bald tires and rim liners from my '30 tudor and sandblasting and painting the wheels, and also
installing new tires and liners which he bought from Sears. That's a present that still puts a smile on my face. For Christmas of that year he paid for the new roof and roof ribs that were made from scratch out of oak. Sandblasting is the way to go! Jack

Re: repainted my wheels
I'm about in the same position. Bought a set of good wheels that are P.C. in a Gawdauffle color. I'd like to repaint them but heard paint won't stick unless they're roughed up. The liquid sandpaper trick sounds great.

Re: repainted my wheels
When it comes to removing paint ,I use Zip strip .It's a little pricey.Brush it on ,let it sit for about 20 minutes and wash off with a hose .
