Default French 17 stud oil and water pumps

I have a complicated query. I have the attached French-made Ford Comète. It is in good cosmetic shape (ex-museum) but the engine is weak, with low compression.

I was able to find a full gasket set but my mechanic does not want to disassemble the engine until I find him new water and oil pumps. I found images for those on the web, from another owner.

My question is, can new ones of these be obtained? Are they standard 17-stud parts or did the French install something different than US engines?

Many thanks,

A Elam

The oil pump is the main bearing cap---- just the gears are replaced, you would have to measure them to see if the same as American 60hp, the drive gear is hard to find in USA, I have found them but not common
You should mention your location

The water pump is not the same as USA engines
If you post some of the dimensions I can compare to what I have

I just added my location, NYC, but this car is in Spain.

There is a mechanic in France who rebuilds water pumps for this engine (you send in the old one, he sends a ready rebuilt one when received). They cost $180 each. Don’t know if that is an OK cost.
