Default Newly to the Forum

Currently building a 1940 Ford Tudor. Making a mild street rods. I've owned this car for over 20 years and it's been dismantled for over 17 years. Had a new chassis built and acquired a 1996 Mustang GT 4.6l SOHC engine an transmission with 8,500 original miles on it. Updated the engine with 2004 PI heads and intake and made a number of updates to the fuel system and throttle body/plenum.
After hauling this around for a ton of years, I decide to get serious and start the process of completing this car. I had the rims sandblasted and powered coated in 2004, just to give you an idea of how long it's been. Disassembled the frame and sent it out for sand blasting and had black epoxy paint applied. Picked up frame and pieces parts on July 2 2018 and have been assembling every since. I will post photos of progress.

Welcome, but you will probably find more information on the HAMB site, https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...ssage-board.5/

This site is mostly for original and restored cars.

And the HAMB is for early style Hot Rods, Street Rods not so much. There are some good street rod sites. Lots of good 40 body information here on the Barn!
