I'm assuming this is for the rear of the truck. Doesn't look right to me. Should be a crown the length of the fender. The front of the fender should have a flat that extends out slightly to meet the running board (Sim to your '37). Also the inside mounting flange doesn't look like it would fit the high and low panels of the side of the box. FYI the '38 through '41 1/2T rear fenders are the same.

Hard to tell for sure from the photos but its possible that somebody who didn't know what they were doing tried to learn metal working and totally screwed it up. Maybe somebody will recognize what its from. Some of the early Chevy trucks looked very sim.

If you look at Mart's video you will get a good look as he removes his rear fender @ 4:50 into the flick.

Looks similar to the fender on the Studebaker bed some farmer back in the day installed on my '39 p/u. I'll try and post a photo tomorrow if that will help.

Kinda looks like it has been altered , not like any of my 40/47 ford pickup fenders .

My 41 pickup fenders are different. The holes are round. I can't say what it is, but I can say it isn't 40/41 Ford pickup, or 46 up either because the holes are round in those too.

It does look like a pickup fender, though, due to the flat mounting face.

Sorry if this is not what you want to hear.

Mart.

Forgot to say, I did a video recently which shows a 41 fender in some detail. You will see what I mean if you watch it.

Edit2: Didn't see the link above!

Looks like a 46 and older chevy gmc. Not a Ford of any year

Not a ford fender. Since it's a right side rear fender there is also no depression for the spare tire. The seller needs to step to the plate and take care of business.

jplawman, send a PM the administrator "RYAN". He may be able to help or eliminate the culprit.
