Identifying 40 Ford PU Ornament

I'll be purchasing a new 40PU hood ornament. But, I want to get the correct one. I have two old ornaments hanging on the garage wall and I am wondering which type fits the 40 pickup (both appear to be the standard style)?

The flat service (where the handle connects) extends 2 1/4" and has only one screw hole on one of the ornaments. The other ornament has a flat space of 3 1/4" and has two screw holes.

Many folks are selling one online that they say fits 40 standard or pickup. How can that be? Need your thoughts on this one Barners. Thanks.

if original ford partlook on the back for the part number. O1A--auto, O1C commercial/pick-up

Thanks Alan. I looked, and sure enough the longer one with two holes is for the commercial. That means that those advertising their ornament as fitting both models are not being accurate with the public. Thanks so much.

The 40-41 pickup hood is definitely shaped different at the front than the 40 passenger car hood.
