If you are fixated on Snap-On brand tools, they also made a 13/32 socket for this purpose. You can find it on eBay.

Thanks for the making of a quality product.

Actually, the day the tools were officially paid for, the driver disappeared never to return. Musta retired on the purchasing of my tools from him. That worth was also in the '80s since in 1990 I stopped wrenching on motorcycles and cars and went to work for UPRR where I have since retired.

Now, I would rather support the enthusiast rather than the huge corporation, my order for the socket still stands.

Thank you for your support forever4. Really, geez. Honestly, thanks to all the rest of you for your patience and support.

Not even sure what to say. Guess everyone should go to ebay and I will throw the rest of what I am working on in the scrap pile.

Really though, Thank you guys!!

I would love to send one to forever4 to see if I could gain his support with the quality of my socket, but I just can't afford to give any away at this point since I am already in a loss position on this project. But oh well.

Then again, Christmas is coming, maybe I will be in the giving mood during the celebration of our saviors birth in about a month.

Ummmm Check your PM's DaWizard, you have been placed on the list, and an explanation of where things stand with regard to this project.

Hope all is well, and thank you for your interest.

Just received my Haag 13/32" deep well socket and tried it out on an old Oct 28-Dec 28 Holley. The worn, rounded nut came right off.

Very pleased with the quality and service. Valuable tool for the those of us that like to work on Zenith carbs.

Thanks for your contribution to the hobby, Bill.

Glad it worked for you Hoarse. I would have expected nothing less since I have a lot of time wrapped up in designing, testing, and making these things with specialty made tooling in order to hold tight tolerances.

Thank you for the review,

Bill, The two sockets I ordered arrived today, beautiful work and cleaver packaging. After reviewing this post - it hardly seems enough to say thanks for your time and effort. This grew into a large project for you - Thank You. Bill

How often in a lifetime will you use it, maybe 2 or 3 times if you are not a rebuilder? I. Can see. No need to get anxious. Wayne

Guys seriously, lol

Please read the instructions when I send the ordering notices.

Once again I send a bunch of notices, then guys order and don't include their Ford Barn name, and I have no idea whether they are legit or not with respect to all the original interested parties on here.

When I send you notice through FB Mail or PM and you don't include the FB name on the order, I have no idea who you are since I do not see your email address on FB when I send the notice. And if I send you a PM and you don't include your FB name on the order, I have no idea once again who you are.

I spent considerable time tonight narrowing (4) people down by geographical location with there FB info and then the shipping address provided.

I think my instructions in the notice are pretty simple. I keep reviewing them to see what I am missing, but I think it is pretty clear.

Anyway, please read the notice carefully when you get it since it would make things much easier on my end to make sure the original interested parties get their sockets, and not a couple of johnny come lately's slip in ahead.

On another note, I have not had a bad review yet of the socket from anyone who has used it so I guess we are doing a good job.

I still have few people who have not responded to the notices, even after numerous attempts sending PM's as well as sending to email through FB, and email sent to my personal email, [email protected]. I am planning to put a list of these FB names on here in the near future since some of the members here may be friends with them or have some idea how I can contact them in case the contact information here on FB has changed, or they are no longer on FB. If they are no longer interested it's fine, but I would like to know so I can distribute the sockets I am holding for them to other interested parties who are eager to aquire them.

Hope you are all well,

Bill

Wahoo! Mine arrived today - they look really nice. Nice touch with the engraving. I'll try them in the shop shortly. Bill - thanks for this contribution to our hobby.

It's a very well built socket, and I'm glad the stamping was added. I haven't had a chance to use mine yet, but may have to find a carb just to try it out.
