Re: Question for "rattle can" painters
SEM paints are excellent. Etching primers, topcoats, clears. No issues.

Re: Question for "rattle can" painters
Prefer VHT engine paint, which I think is Dulicolor. Very hard and nice gloss.

Re: Question for "rattle can" painters
Could you explain how to convert Sawzall to can shaker. Whoops, didn't see the earlier explanation.

Re: Question for "rattle can" painters
I find engine enamel in spray cans works good. Seems a bit more durable.

Re: Question for "rattle can" painters
I've been using Eastwood products on the last couple projects with great results. There "Rust Encapsulator", and extreme chassis black provide an extremely durable and correct appearance. I primarily use rattle cans as I don't have a booth and I mostly do chassis restorations so it's a lot of small painting jobs. Mixing a gun every time would result in a lot of waste.

Re: Question for "rattle can" painters
Thanks for the tip on the respirator. I don't paint very often or use a respirator when I do, although I use one often for dusty projects. I will take your advice in the future.
