Default Opera window removal on 5 window coupe

Do I just "pop" out the inside window ring or is there more to it? I want to replace the glass and gaskets.

Thanks.....Loubob

It has been a while, but I seem to remember that I had to removed the interior side panels. Then there was a retaining bezel around the window that is screwed in. Once that is out of the way, the window and the rubber seal is removed from the inside. You may have to pry it some, as it is held in by eighty years of determination.

I hope that is helpful.

Just did mine as KGBnut said. There are 10 screws holding the metal bezel in place. A bit of interior has to be removed to get at the screws. I wasn't too concerned getting the glass out, but going back in with new glass I made sure none of the nails were loose or coming out too far, made sure none of the old rubber was where I was going to put the new glass and used a bit of paraffin (from Canning days) to ease the entry of the new glass. The bedding rubber was cut about 1/8 to 3/16th too long to allow for shrinkage, seam at the top. That's all I know.
