More Mercury Scenery
Great sky and sun made the crops look very scenic today so I didn't need much excuse to take the Merc out for a few photos and some video. Got some drone video to edit too one of these days. The crop in the photo is canola. Far as you can see on both sides of the road.

Link to the video where you can ride along in the Merc and hear the sound of the flathead.

I'm in the Los Angeles area. Some of the people here think that the rest of America is just like LA. It is not! Thank you for the photo!

Re: More Mercury Scenery
I've never been to L.A. but pretty sure it is nothing like Sask. I drove at least 12 miles in that video yesterday over the course of an hour or more (including photo stops) and only saw three other humans. From a distance. Only the sounds of the Merc, radial tires on gravel roads and of course the wind.

I envy your remoteness. We have newer interstates and my street has became a shortcut from one to another. Thanks for the great pictures.

Beautiful photo!
Richard, that’s what I like about Alaska too! Remote and wide open spaces, and it gets a little chilly in the winter time But it helps keep the Riff Raff out. |

Re: More Mercury Scenery
Very true. We have to cover the radiators on our flatheads to get the engine temp up.

Re: More Mercury Scenery
Thanks for another ride in the Merc Ralph. I didn't know you had the 4-wheel drive option. LOL.
Beautiful country up there. I think I would have to have a motorcycle too to putt around on. Lots of open space. |
