Tabs on rea e-brakes
On my rear brakes the ebrake "backing plate" has tabs where the brake band rides on. I think those were added in 30 or 31 (mines a 31). However one side in bad shape. I have a used one from an earlier vintage car but without the tabs.
Do the tabs make any real difference and can I mix and match them in the rear? Thanks Rudy |

Yes the earlier style can be used as well. Just make sure you mount your band properly with the flat to in inside and the toggle links as well. They interchange just fine to answer your question. All the best, Larry shepard |
