Default 1936 club cabriolet seat springs

Hi Barners,
I believe that my Front and Rear Seat Springs will need replacement. The only manufacturor of these that I know of is Snyders. Has anyone had experience with their product? Any other sources?
Thanks, Bruce/CT

Snyder started out building seat spring assemblies so they are pretty good at it now. Carpenter started out molding dash knobs & stuff. Most of these guys got there start with a niche market.

I think if you buy seat springs from any of the vendors , including LeBaron-Bonney, they all sell the Snyder springs.

Thank you for the replies. I think you are correct TJ.
I bought a complete set of springs from Synders this afternoon. The have to build one of the five pieces and will then ship them. They are about $ 150/piece which I think is reasonable. Very pleasant customer service gentleman.

I know that L.B. co has been doing buisness with them for maybe 40 plus years. I traveled with the founder for many tears and I believe Don Snyder was who he usd to mention . I will be at Fitchburg at the same spot but no tape this time . Kerk

Labor rates are a lot higher that they used to be. Cutting & bending the spring steel and connecting all the springs to themselves & the box takes a fair amount of time. 150 bucks doesn't sound all that bad if you've ever tried to do stuff like this. Snyder's patterns their stuff from original spring assemblies and I imagine they may be the only shop out there that has all the early Ford patterns.

I bought a lower height LB seat spring for my 32 several months ago. I called and talked with Synder. He told me that he provides EVERYONE's springs.
