I tried . Im sure a way can be developed but it was not an option.
I turn thread an chamber rifle barrels ,so different but similar in getting the runout i wanted .
I was going to thread a female thread on an old barrel to use as a nut and insert the barrel in the head stock . It would be sensible if I needed to turn many drums .
