Default 1941 to 1947 truck cabs

Can anyone tell me what if the shape of the cabs are the same in every way. I'm getting ready to use a 41 cab for the sheet matel to lengthen the doors and cab 6". I'm not sure what the year is on the cab I'm going to lengthen. Everything looks the same to me.Then after that,I'm going to chop it 5" and 7".

Please help!!!!!

from 40 to 47 cabs are the same basic shape, just a few changes in the way fenders attach 40/41 verses the rest of the years, show us some pictures of the work
