GNRS Trophy Winner
John Mumford's 27 Ford track roadster won the 9 ft. trophy. Brizio built the car. On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, the car was still in bare metal. 37 axle, Ardun V8 60, vintage SW gauges, the list goes on.

Brizio only finished it. It's been being built for 30 years.

Re: GNRS Trophy Winner
Good to see the Kelly/Mumford car finished. I've been slobbering over it for many years at So-Cals open house during the LARS.

Re: GNRS Trophy Winner
Really refreshing to see a car that looks like a real hot rod instead of what have been recent winners. I was at the show; it would have been my choice.

Its a very nice car but the grill killed this car for me Looks to tractor to me. If the owner is happy with it that's all that counts. The details of both cars would take months to pick up on all the little things. One went old school grill the other with some thing a little newer more street rod. It took a lot more work to make the grill but today's trend is to go back old school. |

Re: GNRS Trophy Winner
The actual number is closer to 20, but still pretty rare. The other high value feature seen in these pics are the not quite as rare but still sought after Kinmont disc brakes.

Re: GNRS Trophy Winner
Outstanding example of what can be done with the right combination of ALL REAL early ford parts - some early speed parts - fit and finish thrown in.
