Default Removing door, window cranks?

Hi, do can you tell me how to remove the door handles and the window cranks. Is there a video any where? Can I remove them without a special tool? Thanks

There is a tool for it, but this video shows how he does it without a tool.

The tool looks like this.

I just completed changing all the handles and cranks in my 1954 Victoria ; by far the best tool ( I have a large choice of them ) is one made by Lisle #3520

I recently completed changing all the handles and cranks in my 54 Victoria and by far the best tool is one made by Lisle ( #35200 ). Rather than pushing the clip out , you simply squeeze and twist up or down .

Thank you all very much, I have won the battle this day! I'm sure I'll be back with another question soon. I'm doing quite a bit of work to this nice car, I want to deal with rust proofing as much as I can in my garage.
