Re: 32 Cabriolet repro parts?
They are 13/16" - early and 1 1/16" - late; both dimensions are the width inside the channel, not the overall width.

Re: 32 Cabriolet repro parts?
Hi; I've got a couple of locals working on '32 cabriolets. I made the little brackets that fit in the doors. Sort of a window guide or stop. A car used two rights and two lefts. No one seems to need any more. they were missing from a couple of local basket case Cabriolets. I can sell them for $5 @. Newc

Re: 32 Cabriolet repro parts?
The stainless window channels for 1932/39 are available reproduction from (in the correct size and shape) both Carpenter and Drake and various other parts suppliers.
HOWEVER the rubber that they supply does not fit the channel from my experience and just falls out as it is too narrow. I ordered repro rubbers from The Early Ford in LA and they fit these channels perfectly and even have the correct felt covering. |
