Default 1940 Handbrake level repair

I need to replace the pawl springs in my 40 handbrake lever,,what is the method to pulling the lever apart and what replacement parts are needed?? TIA.. oz40

I recently did that on my 40 pick up while it was still in truck, there is a rivet that the spring mounts too, I ground the head off the rivet with a small grinder replaced it with a clevis pin put new spring inplace first, macs sells the spring a hardware store for the clevis, very douable in place
