Default 8BA rear main bearing

Does anyone make bearings with an oversize width for an 8BA? I've got 2 Merc cranks that will probably end up with around .010 end play. I know I can have them welded up, but bearings would probably be a less expensive route.

Have you tried a new set of bearings? I have found the King brand of bearings to be so wide I actually remove material to get end play. Found the same with Clevite it seems to me the bearing engineers have taken into acount the bearings are being used on worn cranks so extra material has been added to heip.
