Had mine done a couple of years ago and could notice incredible difference on way home from Doctor. Hope you have same result. Only negative is the daily routine of ointment applications.

Good luck Charlie. I had mine done, one 15 years ago and the other 8. For me, it was one of the best things that happened to me, as I no longer had to wear glasses and could see to drive at night again. I hope it turns out as well for you as it did for me.

Same here, Charlie. It's an amazing procedure! You might only wear glasses for your "close up" work.

Best of luck on this one and the second!!

Regards....Dick.

Charlie,

I had my right eye done last month; the difference will be both noticeable and appreciated.

You will love the new vision Charlie! I remember coming home from the first eye job. When I looked at our refrigerator the "new eye" saw white and the "old eye" saw yellow. I could even read the newspaper without glasses again.

Charlie, I had that done two years ago, both eyes. It was such an amazing thing to be able to see so we'll again, w/o glasses, like I could when in my 20's. It was so quick and painless.

I had my left eye done several years ago. Absolute waste of money. Vision no better in that eye. Can see better out of the right eye. Dr keeps wanting to do the right eye. I told him to do the impossible to himself.

Had both done a couple years ago, and it was easy and made a huge difference. What they forgot to mention is that a pretty high percentage of folks will experience some fogginess after a while (about a yr in my case). So I had to go back and have one eye zapped with a laser for about 15 seconds. Dr. just moved the laser around and broke up the stuff that was causing fogginess. It was simple.

JUST kidding!! Mine have already started forming. Too soon to do anything about it though.

Charlie you will be up and running with greatly improved vision soon.

I play snooker with a fella, have done for years. He could most always beat me. Then gradually I started being able to beat him. Then he had his cataracts done. He started beating me again, most of the time, so I know how effective it can be.

Best wishes Charlie.

Good luck Charlie you'll be fine!

My older brother had that done 8 years ago and he is doing great. He had worn glasses since grade school, not no more!!

He said the weirdest thing afterwards was for the longest time when he'd wake up in the morning, he instinctively would reach for the bed stand for his glasses, feeling about for them. Then he realized he could see and didn't need them anymore

Had both of mine done last year right one very good vision now, Left one vision is good but anything with a straight line has a bow or curve to it doesn't match up with right eye so have some double vision Dr. said caused by some scar tissue in left eye.

Many many sincere THANKS for the good wishes. I did get to the shop for a few hours
and it is great to be able to check the drill size chart on the wall without squinting and
seeing the numbers on the micrometer with ease. March 10th the left eye. My doctor
offered a suggestion if I felt I required a little rehab......."thanks Doc, my shop and customers are all the rehab I need".

Gene,
Google Dave and Ed's auto events. They hold a SWAP MEET 3x / year at
the Canfield Ohio Fairgrounds. If you dial back Hershey 45 years you get Canfield. It's
a good time and not a lot of rules.

Rules...I can imagine. When I hear that I think the club's insurance carrier is the cause of all the rules. They always want to sell ya insurance to cover any possible risks, then dictate. Somehow they always forget about lowering the price since the perceived risks are now lower. Anyone else ever notice this with commercial insurance plans?
