Default White cad plating paint

I need to cad plate a few parts, but there are not enough items to warrant the $100 to $125 minimum plus shipping most cad plating places require. Ford used a whitish plating process, not the more recent yellow/brass colored cad plating. Does anyone know of a spray paint that would mimic fairly closely to the white cad plating Ford did - regular white spray paint is too white.

Eastwood has a cad colored spray paint that looks pretty good. About $8 a can, as I recall.

I do the same and use Eastwood's Diamond Clear over it.

I have fooled lots of "experts" with this.

Thanks to all that responded. I will try the aluminum paint to see what it looks like. I do have some white cad plated parts I had done several years ago to compare the painted parts to.
