Default 1932 Ford b Victoria

I need help finding out what an original 1932 Ford model B Victoria is worth. It is basically coomplete with engine that starts, 18" wire wheels, mechanical brakes, needs uphostery, roof covering, body in excellent shape no rust, needs paint. Has to be partially reassembled.

Thanks for the input. I am confused by the range of prices you mention. I am aware that there are few original Victorias around and I donīt think that I can get mine finished.

Bill,

How long was it at the bottom of the lake? All kidding aside, without more details and pictures you will get a very wide range. My estimate would be between $10K (a friend just bought one for that amount and I think he got a very good deal) and $90K (ads that I have seen for restored cars). You have a potentially very valuable car. I would suggest you contact a local chapter of the Early Ford V8 Club and have someone give you some help. Just don't sell it to the first person that tells you what it is worth. What is your general location? PM me if you need some contact numbers.

The Victoria body style is a desirable style and from your description, I would agree with Charlie that it would sell for somewhere between 10,000 and 20,000, depending on how bad the paint and upholstery are.

Original cars are increasing in value lately, due to the recognition that they are disappearing fast and they should be preserved. I also agree with Charlie that you should contact a local V-8 Club to help you with selling the car. You can post a free ad on the Early Ford V-8 Club's website.

I haven't a clue where you might be located BUT there must be an appraiser close by that would give you the best answer.

Sorry, I havenīt been on this for a few days. This is like going to diferent doctors and getting all kinds of opinions. The car is original with no mods, it and I are in Mexico city, Mexico. I will try to get some photos this weekend and also answer the private messages.
