Default Coil Box Question

Hello. I am rebuilding a coil box to sync up with my new 1922 starter engine. When I removed the wood from the bottom of the box, I noticed that the metal (brass?) strip is secured by what appears to be rivets. There is also a wire that is soldered to one of the side rivets.

Are there any instructions available that shows how these coil boxes go together? I checked some of the parts suppliers and I did not see any rivets in their rebuild kits. Would a brass transmission band rivet work?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The best rebuild is with Fun Projects waterproof plastic kit, eliminates all water worry, swelling of the wood or carbon tracking that can cause coil miss

The lower right corner link has instructions

That lower strip is held with hollow core brass rivets, you can use tubular ones too, or other rivets, best to have a hole drilled a bit into the head for soldering the wire to the rivet.

Use the brass tubular rivet. The split one will not have enough holding power.
