Default Model A Ford, First Service, Pt1

This short film clip (8:50) from the Ford Films studios shows some of the trainees getting familiarized with various operations. At (6:58) it shows a young man learning to use a hand reamer. This the way it was taught at the Ford school. Put the squared end in a vise and turn the work down on it. This is always an issue when someone is confronted with say, Kingpins.

I am "computer Ignorant" I can't do links! So I do the next best thing. I give out the title which is "Model A Ford, First Service, PT1" What I forgot completely was to tell where it was. My Bad! It's on youtube. Just put the title in the bar and it should come up.

'Model A Archive Channel' is where the videos can be found on YouTube. Instead of the music (played in the background), would have preferred a voice-over of someone with extensive knowledge on whatever the topic may be. Nitpicking, as I'm just grateful someone took the time to download/upload the videos.

Really neat to see all the little details…if only it was in color!

Did anyone else notice the instructions to owner pasted on the windshield?

This video is one of three videos in the series.
The first is: Buying a New Ford
The Second is: Model A Ford, First Service, Pt 1
The Third is: Model A Ford, Service Pt 2
All can be found if you google the titles.
I downloaded them to show at a future club meeting.

Growing up, all the boys in my family got that exact same haircut courtesy of Grandpa. That is, until we finally broke free of his free haircuts and paid for our own, more stylish haircuts.
