44.39 right now.... Gotta wait for the current frenzy to subside. This is worse than Wall St.

Re: Coil deal!!
I'm perfectly aware of that but being that he stated that he watches for these and was kind enough to notify us in the first place I say it is a simple and respectful request.
And with all due respect you aren't my nanny either! In reality I don't have a nanny nor have met either one of mine. LOL |

Re: Coil deal!!
I got one, but what I am going to do with it? All my old stuff is 6 volt, and the new cars are all "Coil-on-plug". Oh well, I DID get a smokin' deal.

Re: Coil deal!!
Bubba,
Got the Bosch coil...thanks for the heads up. Got a couple of questions: 1. Can the coil be mounted horizontally? 2. Is a resistor needed or is it internally resisted? |

Re: Coil deal!!
Not Bubba, but 1) Yes 2) No. It's a ~3 ohm coil, no ballast resistor required.

Re: Coil deal!!
Yeah, the flattie has been converted....well at least the generator has.
I should be able to run a '36 helmet distributor (11A internals) on 12 volts...right. Here's a video of it running, hope I'm not burning the points or anything. The distributor does has the external coil 'converter' in place of the distributor top coil. https://vimeo.com/257419985 Last edited by 50droptop; 02-25-2018 at 10:28 PM. Reason: Added content |
