Default California National Car Tour

Anyone go on the California tour last week? We managed to get our 29 roadster there for its first tour, and it even made it across the Golden Gate Bridge. We were the only ones there without an overdrive so we brought up the tail end but still fun, Started in Paso Robles for a couple days, then to Monterey for another couple days then up to San Francisco. Here are some photos, Good Times

Looks like a nice tour. Too bad Hwy 1 is closed - that is a beautiful drive. I have made the Hwy 1 drive many times in a modern car, but not in my A. But it looks like you had great weather and a nice tour.

That was a great tour, We didn't make the start because my wife was ill. While we didn't get this picture on this tour we have driven a Model A across the bridge!

I ran into the tour last week when I checked into the Embassy Suites in San Rafael, CA. It was a treat pulling into the parking lot and seeing it filled with beautiful Model A's.

Yes we made the tour along with three other couples from Northern Utah. The Bakersfield Ca people did a fine job putting it together. 650 miles up and back on Hwy.1 with great people.

The California Coast tour was great and the Bakersfield Chapter did a wonderful job of hosting it. Hope that you can make the 2019 MAFCA tour. As I said at the banquet it is a hub style tour headquartered in Kanab, UT. I've attached an ad maybe you can talk up the tour to your chapter in Utah and get the local news letter to mention it.

John thanks for that information about the canyon lands tour in 2019. I will be sure to pass the information along to the three Utah MAFCA chapters and looking forward to the tour myself.
