Flathead fan pulleys
I’m preparing to put a ‘53 Flathead into a ‘31 truck project of mine and noticed that the fan pulley spacer between the pulley and the fan mount seems long (4 inches)... anyone have any info on a possible alternative that would be shorter?

Re: Flathead fan pulleys
Thank you! A little pricey yes, but I believe that answered my question that a shorter option is available 👍

I can honestly tell you from experience that you couldn't make one for that money. 6061 aluminum is expensive and so are the bearings and the machining required. I know because I made this one in 1999 before Drake started making his a few years ago. DRAKE has raised price $20 since last year so the price will never be going down. The one I made is on an 8BA with other modifications. Call DRAKE and ask for the critical measurements you need to know about. Good luck on your project.
