Maybe he means the fabled Atlas "Bucrons". We really coveted them in the sixties.

Yes indeed. I remember the ESSO gas station near me used to carry them. Good tires.
Had them on my 40.

PS. I worked at an Exxon in High School and mounted a lot of them.

Anyone remember the Atlas milepac , I think it was called . It cost $15 in the 70s , later moroso came out with drag front tires with the same tread design
