Default Thread size in head for heater/heat sensor

I'm placing an order for a Spal 16" fan from Summit and figured to order the switch at the same time since there's a 10% Memorial Day discount.

What is the thread size something or other NPT for the heater connection heat sensor?

Probably need another 'Y' as well?

Any suggestions I'm all ears.

You really want to have that senor monitor the bottom tank coolant temp. No point in running the fan if the radiator is rejecting the heat load without the fan.
Besides, if the sensor is in the engine it is reading what the thermostats are doing not what the radiator is doing.
Just my $0.02 cents.
