Vintique channels from Macs are not like Ford originals, they aren't even copies, but they do fit and work okay, I put them in my truck doors and it was a biatch of a job, but I'm happy!

I used thier stuff on my 50 F-1, I was disappointed in the quality. It was a job I don't ever want to do again. The horizontal fuzzies ( lack of a better term ) were not even close to the originals and you had to figure where the clips should go as they were in a bag. I had to trim the ends were they met the glass channel. You pay alot of money and you get crap!

If drakes are different they have to be better. My Vintiques fell apart on the shelf in the garage. My originals are in far better shape than the replacements.

The top rubber piece is glued in place where the sides are supposed to be screwed or brads, but you can glue them also.

I ordered mine thri LMC truck and when opened up the big box, the channels were in a Vintique white box. Chances are, they all sell the same stuff.

Thanks for the replies . I ended up using some longer upholstery Brads which seemed to work very well . I thought that the quality of the kit was ok , time will tell as to how long they hold up , just happy to have a working rear window . One other thing how important are the plastic or Bakelite corners ? To install the new channels I had to remove them and of course they broke , so being a woodworker I can make some new ones off of the orig pcs which I saved . The only thing I can see is they helped the upholstrey bend around for nailing purposes . Thanks again
