Saw the Blues Brothers car two years ago when the Race went through Indiana. They are on a mission from God. At least that was their claim. What a fun evening seeing all the cars.

Yes, of course. I should have recognized that. I don't remember the big air scoop/air handler system on the top.

What's with all the stickers? Almost as bad as NASCAR...

Probably sponsors and helps with expenses. Good for them. Some may not be able to afford it without sponsors.

The great race definitely requires sponsorship. Unless you're independently wealthy. The entry fee plus your support crew takes time and money.

Was there at the finish line. I gotta say those three 1916 Hudsons were impressive, but the flatheads were what I gravitated to in the grass field as they parked.

Saw them when they stopped overnight in Bend, Oregon. I too liked the early Hudson race cars. Way too many modern cars, read that as non-flathead engines, to keep me super interested. Would liked to have seen all the cars but we had a dinner date with two other couples so had to leave early, plus it started to rain.
