Default Mile-O-matic Tranny again

I have the 361 V8 with 2 speed Mile-O-Matic transmission which is currently working.
I was excited finding a rebuilt tranny as a spare see link:http://fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=170433
Upon further reading, there were 2 different sized torque converters, one for the 223 six and 292 V8 and a different one for the 332 352 and 361V8. Also there were 3 different servos sizes and 4 different valve bodies one for each engine.
The tranny I bought came from a 292 V8. The tranny prefix is PBR-A and the tranny on my car has the prefix PBS-B. So... my question is, if my tranny should go out, would I be able to combine my torque converter and valve body with the guts of the spare I bought to get a working tranny or is that wishful thinking?
