The Ford Barn

Bill wanted to keep this somewhat low key and was hoping to be back on the barn with his extended family by now and not miss a beat but it has'nt worked out that way. i told him that he was missed and the natives were getting very very restless so he asked me to post this. when he was in the rehab before returning home he contracted C-diff which is a nasty intestinal infection that is easy to catch in joints like that. they sent him home with strong antibiotics and things were slowly getting better. after a couple weeks he had an appt to go see the surgeon to check on the status of his leg. he got great news that finally he could start putting a little weight on it and continue getiing the therapy at home where he was so happy being with his friends, family, Buster T, and of course having his computer and being able to have dialog with all of us. well after he got home from the doc that night the C-diff flared like out of nowhere's real bad so Cindy took him to the hospital for fear of dehydration. after some tests it was confirmed to have made a reocuurence so they admitted him for treatment over the hoildays and he has been there ever since. needless to say his holiday season has turned into a nightmare so sad

the latest as of today is the infection seems to be going back and forth like a batlle going on inside.
as i did before i will relay to him each and everyone of your thoughts and prayers as well as posting any updates as they occur

I'm so sorry to hear that. I also had an infection that almost killed me and left my feet a mess. It a also resurfaced after a year, so I can definitely relate. My prayers are with him.

Sure sorry to hear that. Hope Bill gets better soon, and don't leave the hospital before it's time. About 20 years ago I left the hospital after laying in their bed for a week and going stir crazy. The doctor was right, that I wan't ready to leave, and I wound up going right back for another stay.

Our prayers to you Bill, that's a tough one to get over, my wife had the same thing some years ago and they sent her home too early. After some strong antibiotics it was finally beaten. I hope the same for you, stay tough !
