Default Ruckstall

A friend of mine has a 26-27 Ruckstall Differential. He is trying to downsize and would like to market this differential. It appears to be in nice shape inside. It is missing the shift rod and the lever that mounts to the transmission. Can anyone give me an approximate value of such an item? Thanks. Midgetracer

Depends on the gear ratio, 3:1 is more desirable IMO.
I'd put it at $600-$800...

Does he only have the differential? Or does he have the entire Ruckstell rear axle assembly? Condition affects price. Is it pulled from a creek bed rusty, or is it greasy?
