Default KR Wilson Tools

Do any of you guys have, or do you know of, either of these KRW tools for servicing the old Fords?

The KRW 9350-A is a carb and fuel pump tester. It sits on the counter and the resevoir is filled with kerosene. It has an electric motor that runs the fuel pump just like when its on the car.The gauges tell how much fuel press and pump vacuum you have and you can connect the fuel pump to the carb and check for leaks ,set the float level and make other adjustments. The other tool is a bench mounted holding fixture for rebuilding fuel pumps.

Hey Ken,

Do you think he would let me come by and take photos of it? Could you put me in touch with him?

Thanks,

Dave

All I have ever seen is the pics in the Service Bulletin instructions for use. A big advantage is that you can set desired actual fuel level measured by the KRW sight glass using actual pressure developed by your own pump.
I have the sight glasses for both Stromberg and Ford carbs, but have never encountered anything but pictures of the machines.

There was one of these at the v8 parts auction in echo, minnesota this fall. Interesting contraption checked carb flow and fuel pump operation. The one at the auction need the majority of the lines replaced as dry rot had kicked in i think the final price was under $800

I don't have the machine, have only seen one at Hershey, but I do have this picture from a Ford engine reconditioning book showing a production use ---and of a larger bench fixture ----sorry about the bad quality, it is a picture of a photocopy of the book.

KR Wilson had a suppliment to their 1940 tools catalog titled.
(New Tools and Equipment for Cleaning-Testing FORD carburators, fuel pumps and engines )
In it I'd seen this tool and many others for servicing the 97 and 94 carbs, u don't see theses tools in the regular catalog.
