If you are looking for authenticity and quality it's hard to beat Roy Nacewicz. His website is www.fordbolts.com

Jim is correct. Roy's welting is the correct size and has a paperlike core verses the plastic tubing most parts houses sell. It accepts paint well for the cowl welting. I used it on my 28 special coupe a couple years ago and have some for my 29 phaeton. It is not as cheap ad the plastic cored type, but much more authentic.

Just so we are all clear on something, if you are looking for total authenticity you won't be getting it with Roy's welting either. There are some subtle differences such as the way the paper core is rolled, and Roy sews his welting whereas the original was not sewn. To specifically answer the OP's question, his IS the best available commercially and you will likely be very happy with it however it really is not 100% authentic.

Spoke to Roy and welt received within a few days. An excellent product delivered on time at a fare price.
