Default 39 40 Deluxe coupe doors

Have an opportunity to buy a pair of 40 coupe doors. Will these work on a 39 Deluxe coupe. Not concerned about trim holes. The seller couldn't confidently say that they would. Just want an answer before I spend any money. There not cheap as we all know.

I just looked at the 1940 parts book and almost every part of the door has an O1A part number prefix which means something is different from the 39 door. They MIGHT bolt on but would want to talk to someone who has done this before spending the money.
Kube would know for sure. I think the 40 was the first year with a vent window in the garnish molding.

The outside door handle is different, and so is the hole it mounts in on the door. The window garnish has the vent window in it. The window regulator is different and so is the glass run channel kit, and the door glass retainer has a divider attached to it to fill the gap between the door and vent glass. But the doors will mount on the car.

Keep looking for 39 std or deluxe coupe doors - less trouble and probably cheaper.
38 std coupe doors will work just fine too as the exterior trim holes are the same.
