Default Windshield rubber

Any tips on getting the rubber seal to pass through the channel on the windshield without bending the channel metal??

Liquid Soap and water or better yet Silicone spray.

Be sure the rubber isn't too thick, like I got on my first order.

liquid soap or go-Jo hand cleaner, and a pair of duck bill vise grips.

Don't trim right after after installation let it set for a few days because the rubber seal tends to shrink up somewhat .
