Default Rumble Seat Mounting

I have a 1931 Deluxe Coupe with a rumble seat. A long time ago my Dad purchased an aftermarket upholstered seat and back. The seat cushion bottom has only the wire frame. How is it supposed to be mounted or fastened to the floor pan? My replacement floor pan for the rumble seat has two holes in it near the front edge. Is the seat cushion to be bolted from underneath? Is there supposed to be a wood frame underneath the seat cushion? Any pictures would help.

Thanks!

No wood frame on the bottom. Only wire.

There should be two bent wires sticking down from the seat bottom that go through the holes in the rumble seat floor. This is sort of a spring fit that holds the bottom there.
