You might need to mix the proper french gray from several different colors. Most old time pinstriper's I know mix the correct color on their pallet. My guess would be grey + a dab of blue

I had to make up "straw" for my tudor, and I purchased yellow, white and tan from 1-Shot. It took me maybe 10 minutes to get what I liked that matched a chip I had. Make a little bit to get the approximate proportions, then mix a larger amount to provide what you need to stripe the car.

FWIW... the grill insert on a '32 Ford is French Gray. There may be a color you can buy or match

my pin striper had my color premixed when he arrived. I will attempt to contact him to ascertain where the paint was derived from. Wayne

You'll have to mix it to match the chip in the paint guide.

John, You can also consider 3M pinstriping tape. It comes in several widths and colors. I don't know if they have one close to what you want but I found one that matched Tacoma Crème that I used on my coupe.

John,
Even if you did it in BATTLESHIP GREY, who??? would notice? If they did, who cares. Vermin has straw wheels, I'll put a 1/8" dark blue body COLOR stripe on the wheel rims, to "tie" them to the body color! (IT'S MY CAR!)
