Default what a job, shuddering fixed and back to work.

So the shuddering problem turned out to be the hardening on the hubs finally giving up after 80 odd years. At low speed and with the help of the brakes lightly being applied the wheel bearings must have been sliding and not rolling anymore causing the shuddering - juddering*

So it all came out and with the help of Phil Pavicich he installed some new sleeves on the hubs. We decided to decrease the thickness of the sleeves as they're very thick and to save more meat on the actual diff hub for strength.
He saved me again by making a special tool after trying to remove one of the [modern] seals every bit of it broke away and it was stuck fast up there. He also made the install tool for the seals, I would have been lost without his help.

So I reassembled the diff and put it all back in with a little help from my daughter Meagan on Saturday, I sure felt it on Sunday..aghh! As I say to my daughter getting old sucks! So its back to daily driving and hopefully good for another 80 years.. I'll be long gone..
