1930 CCPU: Does Someone Have a Photo of the Instrument Panel Light Assembly?
Someone told recently me that my late '30 CCPU should have an instrument panel light assembly...and of course, it's gone.
This is the later type light for the round speedometer that mounts above the gauges, under the rail. Cars and trucks share the same light assembly. I also found out that this type of light is different than the type used for open cars for the same years. I'm heading to the Big-3 Swap in San Diego in a couple of weeks and I'll keep my eye out for one. Could someone please post a photo of the correct type of lamp assembly (preferably not mounted)? Also, are the originals discernibly different than the repops?

I have found the repros to be very good. You can get an image off any of the suppliers’ web sites.

The repros are good. There are two types. one for closed cars. one for open cars. The lamps are the same, the bracket design is different. Bratton's number 19660 is the one you want and the catalog shows pictures of both brackets (I am using 2014 catalog).

Thanks for your help guys. I also went to a couple of suppliers for images, but they were poor. I stopped looking too soon I think
