Ford model 59 carburetor rebuild kit

Looking where to purchase a model 59a-9510-a carburetor rebuild kit . I can find replacement carburetors but no rebuild kits. That model was used on 47tru 48 passengers cars and 46thru47 trucks. I would think if I can buy a replacement carburetor model 59 , why not a rebuild kit . Any suggestions as to where I may look.

The Holley 94 carburetors went through some evolution over the years of production but overall, they are still the same carb. The 2100 was a common replacement and the 2110 was a bit larger in the cfm rating but it is still the same basic carb. The OEM part number for a kit may only get you an old dusty box that has been on the shelf for 50 years. Soft parts don't last well with age.

The most common problem now days is getting a power valve that will actually fit the body well. The way the new ones are made, they have a tendency to not seal well on the original castings. One of the barn members Charlie NY has a way to fix that. There may be others as well. Accelerator pump plungers can be less than adequate for the job too. All things to watch out for on the 94 carbs.

Carb rebuild kits are universal for all 94 series carburetors. The shape of the power valve is important for it to seat in these carbs. Search the forum for power valves and you will get all kinds of information.
