Default Gauge at zero..!

Gas gauge at zero, not moving, after some investigation found that the float had separated from the rod.! I don't think it will do any harm until I get a
new (replacement) unit, or fish it out and try to restore this one.
Any ideas..? Thanks, kb

Just rebuilt mine for my 30 Tudor. Use new alcohol resistant float and REUSE your existing unit. Use cork gaskets and at least two brass washers. Repro gas gages DO NOT fit.
Have fun, use steel wrenches from the dealers. Regards Grant

Make sure you have an in tank filter in case the cork disintegrates. Wayne

If it hasn't happened to you yet it will. I used the updated float but recently have used the brass float that is now available for another car.

Obviously I am wrong, I thought the A had 10 gallon capacity, not 11?. Wayne
