Default A495 needs a new home

City: Bozeman
State: Montana
Price: in ad

It’s with a very heavy heart that I have now officially put A495 up for sale. It is arguably one of the finest restorations of a Model A and an extremely detailed restoration of the earliest Model A’s. It will be advertised on Fordbarn and in Hemmings Motor News.
After the restoration A495 was completed in 2014, it was judged at three national Model A meets and was the Best of Show at each. It was displayed at two other national meets. Since then it has spent two years in the MAFFI Museum at the Gilmore in Hickory Corners, Michigan and three years in a trailer in my shop. This summer I will bring it to the MARC National meet in Dearborn, Michigan.
My house, garage and shop are surrounded by hay fields in every direction. We’ve got a good assortment of creatures that would love to have a nice warm place to live. Therefore, to protect it, I keep it in a trailer that is parked in my shop. Hopefully, I will find someone who will be able to display it and enjoy it.
Sale price: $195,000

Whether you are interested as a potential buyer or just curious, send an email to [email protected] and I will send you a link to a file of photos at Dropbox. I will also send a copy of an article that I wrote about A495 for the Model A News.

Well, I've had a couple nibbles. One man seems to be very interested but has not pulled the triger. I am putting this ad back to the top.

Joe K reminded me of an earlier thread that had chassis photos in it.
Check out https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42293

Hope to see many of you in Dearborn.

Dean

P.S. The above photos do have some dirt spots from the rain during the French Lick mandatory tour.

Howdy Folks,

The good news is that a friend has offered a spot in his warehouse/showroom to store A495.

The not so good news is that no one has stepped up yet to buy A495. I realize that it will take a particular person to do that. Fortunately I am a patient man.
