Default identify Oil Dip Stick

I have an oil dip stick that measures 20.5" long. What flathead engine does it go with? Thanks, Mike

Some Barner must be able to identify it.

According to google, a Ford 351C stick is 20.5" long. A new chrome one with the tube is only $10 with free shipping on ebay. 8^) Jack E/NJ

None of the '32-'48 Fords have a stick that long.
None of the 3 different sticks on '49-'53 Mercury are that long.
Might not even be a Ford product.

Thanks guys. It seems as if this oil stick is not for a Flathead. Search is over. Mike

You can use it though without cutting with approriate length of rubber fuel tubing to act as a spacer and seal. Makes it easier to reach too. 8^) Jack E/NJ

Just curious, I checked my oil on my F8 and thats a long dipstick. These have a 9qt
pan an one qt, for the filter total 10qts. And I forgot all about this post as far as length,
but I tell you its way longer than the Ford car or light truck. So far the big block has not
been mentioned yet, but I am talking big job truck not a Lincoln car. I don't think a car
has the double oil pan like a truck; don't know.......looks as long as my 391 F800 dipstick.
