Default B head

Here is the B head with the second coat of pattern paint on it. Ready to mold. I am working on the model for the water jacket. This head will be available in iron or aluminum with a Winfield or Weiand crow's foot combustion chamber.

Tod, you’re a busy man! Thank you for helping us with those great parts. When will this head be available and by who can we order it?

Available through me, and when will depend on how soon I get the water jacket model finished and decide how I want to make the cores. Then I need to program machining. 4-6 months?

Tod, I would recommend calling that a "C" head because Ford made a B head, called a police head, that was a direct replacement for the Model A head. Both the B and C heads had that letter prominent on each head. Just my thought.

Good idea. I haven't put the letter C on it yet. I have one in the shop.

Spent time on the water jacket model today. Almost ready to send the model to the core shop.

That would just be a stock looking Snyder head or one of my Winfields.

As the owner of 2 Model B Fords I am glad someone is making a head for the Model B. Of course you can run the Model A heads on a Model B but I prefer one that looks original. If running a 1933 or 1934 4 banger you need the 1933-1934 3 bolt water pump as it is shorter (see attached photo). There are many old and currently produced heads with 4 bolt water pumps. Changing to a 4 bolt water pump on this head would put it into an already saturated market.
