Time to start!
It is time to start cutting the new 8BA block tooling. I have a lot going on, but the CNC machine I cut patterns on is empty and I can start making the prototype pattern equipment.
It looks like my whole year and some more is set for machining work so I will have to fit it in as I can, but there is no reason not to get started asap. Tod |

From the trouble the guy I just sold an engine to had, your timing seems to be pretty good.

Re: Time to start!
Listen to Ole' Ron on the deck thickness and removing the water around the intake - could make a much better flowing port. I'd also increase the thickness of the main webbing areas down by the crank mains - put some more strength to help with higher horsepower situations. Also, no reason to keep the oil pan rails so darn thin - put some more material in the bottom area. Anyway, very excited to see you moving forward on this project - can't wait to see the results!
Now - if you could please make an aluminum one with high-quality liners . . . about a 3 7/16 bore please! Say it's true . . . say it's true! LOL |
