Kalamazoo swap meet
Went to the Kalamazoo swap meet this week end. I had it pre- arranged to meet " Funruner, and Mrs. Funruner, " from the Barn. Had a great time ! I did not expect much, but WOW what a neat swap meet ! We both found some really neat stuff. At one point, they announced that the parking lot was full - no more room to park. The vendors were very friendly and they had lots of old stuff. It was a 300 mile {one way} ride, but well worth it. If possible, I'm going next year, put it on your list !

Re: Kalamazoo swap meet
I was a NSRA commercial vendor at Kalamazoo for many years and never failed to score something unique at that swap meet. Must be a lot of stuff squirreled away in the North Woods.

Re: Kalamazoo swap meet
I missed it this year but have gone to that meet several times in the past and it's definitely a good one. I've picked up quite a few items there. But even if I got nothing, the experience made the 85 mile trip worth it.
